Update [Jun. 9th, 2005|11:26 am]

Well, life has been stressful and so I haven't been exercising much (ok, at all). With everything that's happening though I'll have a lot more free time and so I can get my butt in gear. I went to the Dr. a couple of days ago and have gone from 276.6 to 274.4. At least I lost a couple of pounds. Here's to starting a new phase in my life.

I'm a bad bad girl [May. 4th, 2005|12:04 pm]

I followed the schedule for about a week and then totally flopped! Grr! My hubby is going to help me with getting better disciplined. Instead of doing the stationery bike for 30 minutes a day (which was really stupid to start doing after not doing hardly any exercise at all!) I've been doing my Goddess Workout by Dolphina. It's alot easier and has the Warm Up/Cool Down with it so I don't start getting cramps like I did the last time. Hopefully we can make a go of this. I've been good for 2 days now. Let's see how things go.

Starting a new regimen today [Apr. 14th, 2005|08:45 pm]

We now have a set schedule we are going to try to follow. Hubby is helping me.

8am Rise and Shine
8-8:30 Exercise
8:30-9 Breakfast
9-9:30 Shower and leave for work
10-7 work
2-3 eat lunch
7-8 eat supper
Midnight Bedtime

Also I must have at least 1 glass of fresh OJ every morning and drink at least 64 oz of water a day. So far so good LOL

I'm a very happy girl at the moment. Unfortunately the cause of my happiness may have come from being VERY ill the last few weeks but here goes. I went to the Doctor on Thursday and the scale said 271. I went back again this morning (for something else) and the scale said 268!

I ACHIEVED MY GOAL! (for the week anyway) [Mar. 18th, 2005|05:04 pm]

I'm down to 275 and I drank what adds up to 1/2 gallon of water yesterday. Today I've eaten a Dairy Queen popcorn shrimp basket (at the shrimp and 1/2 the cole slaw but couldn't do the fries). I also had a small Pecan Cluster Blizzard.

So far I've drank 1 liter of water today but the day isn't over yet and I'm working on my second one. I'll add more later when I eat again.

Today ~ Wendy's 5 piece nugget w/sweet & sour sauce, Side Salad w/Fat Free French Dressing
2 1 liters of water
and I had some popcorn at the movies (no butter)

I've been sick so I wasn't able to attend our Healthy Living meeting last Friday but this Friday I was. I know I've done terrible because I've been on steriods and eating everything in site.

My weight this week was 278.2. My goal for next week is to lose at least 1lb and to drink more water.

Back to the drawing board [Feb. 26th, 2005|09:55 pm]

I don't know wether my scale was just REALLY messed up or what but it looks like I'm back at the same weight I started at. We did our weigh in at the Healthy Living group and this is how it came up. My neck is 16", my chest is 52.5", My thigh is 30", I don't remember what my waist or bicep was but I'll get those and put them in here so I can keep track of those too.


What I ate today: 2 Chicken Ranchero Tacos from Taco Bell for lunch and for dinner Hubby's Sauteed Chicken 2/wild rice. It's a broiled boneless skinless chicken breast, sauteed mushrooms, onions, garlic and green peppers in EV Olive Oil, wild rice and cream of chicken soup.

Weight was 278, Chest was 52.5", Neck = 16", Bicep = 15", Thigh = 30"

We had our first meeting of our new Weight Loss Support group. We decided to change the name to the Healthy Living Support Group. I really hope this helps me keep my motivation and continue making myself healthier.
